- This includes defensive asylum in Immigration Court or affirmative asylum with USCIS
U-Visa Petitions (victims of criminal activity)
- Assistance to victims of certain crimes who can seek to obtain a green card
Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)
- Assistance in obtaining a green card for domestic violence victims when their abuser is either a LPR or U.S. Citizen
DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals)
- Childhood arrivals before June 2007 can apply for temporary protected status and receive a work permit which is renewable every two years
